Blueberry Brings us to Spring

Blueberry has released a cute group gift that is just sweet for the spring weather with dress pack that comes with 4 colors, Aqua, Beige, Black and Pink.  The dress is a short style, with a deep plunge neckline that is tasteful, fashionable and eye catching in design.  With the 4 colors that it comes in, you are sure to be able to find this gift not only useful but handy while going out and about the grid for different events.
While at the store though, I also noted that previous months gifts are available still so I grabbed an adorable white hoodie and a short sky lime colored skirt for the more casual, laid back look I enjoy.  Pairing that up with the new Truth hair from the Catnip Carnival fund raiser, it gives me cute and casual look that I am enjoying.

Haunted Fun Gifts

I admit, I'm a kid at heart when it comes to this time of year.  I love the smell of Autumn, the feel of the brisk, cool breeze on my skin and the decorated homes, getting ready for Halloween.  The world is painted in rich, vibrant colors and I love it all!
Across the grid, we echo the real world, with amazing decorations, sims that are created just for Halloween or Autumn and you can feel a festive mood surrounding many.  Creators are also quite festive and the amount of gifts and hunts going on, reflect this. 
*G Field has out an adorable dress for a gift right now, with no group required.  It includes the dress, matching tights and a bat ribbon for you hair.  Chrysalis has a pair of boots for their October gift that pair up really well with the *G Field* gift for both color and the designs on the boots.  Meanwhile, from SHOCK; I was lucky I came across these hot looking nails to finish off my look, which was their October group gift.

Elegance on a Budget

As many know, gowns can put you back quite a bit in Lindens, with the cost going over 1K easily for a high quality, beautifully created dress.  The problem with that is, many just cannot afford to drop that amount of money for a creation.  Why though do you really have to go completely without?  Dancing is a wonderful and enjoyable pass time and you want to look your best when you do it, especially if you are heading to a more romantic and formal area.  On that note, Paris Metro, AZUL and Chrysalis are three stores that are not only owned by some very talented people but, very generous as well for the wonderful gifts they give out each month.  Each have their own groups, which cost nothing to join and they all give out gifts regularly.  Paris Metro and Chrysalis also give out special gifts on certain occasions for their group member during the month, besides the monthly gift.  I do recommend not only joining them but, staying in them for the amazing specials, deals, sales and gifts that occur during the month.

Free is always good!

Everyone loves to get something nice without a high cost or even free.  After doing the last free look, I figured it would be fun to do it again.  As it turns out, the timing was great since Truth, Huit and Opium has released some great gifts since my last post.  So here I go again, with another free look. 
Truth, on occasion; does release a really nice hair gift and yesterday one was sent out thru the subscribo.  It's a short, sassy look that is versatile for a variety of different looks.  The gift contains a full fatpack, all the different colors that Truth has available.
HUIT also released a new skin gift that is delicate and gentle looking that has a sweet, innocent aura about it.  The skin is a bit paler than what I normally wear but the detailing and look of her is so appealing that I still like it quite a bit.
Last but not least, there is Opium who has several different gifts in the store for people.  The dress is a cute group gift that has 2 dresses available in it, both of which are mesh.  The shoes were the only thing that actually did cost me some lindens, 10L to be exact but, that is such a low cost it's a steal.

DEW Butterfly Hunt

In the mood for a hunt but not too big of a hunt?  Wanting to find something to just occupy a bit of time and get some nice looking items for a small cost?  Then pop over to DEW and do their little store hunt!  There is 10 beautiful butterflies, easily findable; scattered about the store and store area.  Each butterfly is priced at 10L and inside are some very nice looking mesh items.

I grabbed a few of my favorites from the hunt, cute pieces that work great with other items in my inventory to show.  The pants and tops were in separate butterflies, including a pair of yellow pants, yellow being a hot color that I seem to be seeing alot across the grid lately.

Today was one of those days where I was racking my brain and looking around for something interesting to blog about.  Looking through my nc's, I finally came across May Tolson's note card for Tentacio.  Looking through the pictures, I realized that since I love her creations, why not blog about them.
I have several things of hers already but, I was in the mood to go shopping, so shopping I did go and had a blast doing it!  Her items are very detailed, well fitting, very fashion forward and the prices are fantastic!

After wandering through her store and finding some goodies to drool over, I went home and tried out everything!  I do look like I'm ready for going out, having fun and looking great but, in the end the pieces that seemed to fit my mood and the time of day for me was the lingerie set and the comfy cardigan that won the day!  In the end, I went with a relaxed mood for home but wow, do I ever look hot chillaxin!

52 Week Color Challenge Part Deux - Week 7 - Folly!

Why the exclamation point in the title after the Folly color?  Because this one was a difficult one to pull together.  I finally went over to Second life marketplace and typed in the word pink to see if I could come up with any ideas.  Just a little side note about doing that..there is ALOT of different shades of pink and you end up with a huge list of things to trudge through..lol.  Also, Folly is not really a pink but has more of a red tone to it, so it was a little more difficult to locate.  I finally located a few items that hit my eye and I was finally able to put together a cute outfit that was a little more urban than my normal look even.  The jacket and dress were only 10L each, which is a great deal; and the shoes and purse are previous group gifts from Miamai and from N-Core.

Mynerva and Vero Modero Group Gifts

That's right, the title IS correct!  Mynerva is back!  I have loved her skins since the day I did the Pretty in Pink Hunt and picked up one of her fabulous skins as a hunt gift.  Due to RL demands, the creator has not had time to create though, so it's been quiet in her store for quite awhile.  Well, the long wait is now over and she is back and creating once more again!  Yay!
The store has been revamped up a bit and some of the older skins have been moved to the bargain basement to make room for the new skins that will be coming in, in the near future.  The prices on the old skins are amazing and yes, I went shopping as usual.  So did quite a few other people as well, including Mockie and Indigo from MOCK, who were giggling right next to me as we picked out our favorites.
Not only has a bargain basement been added to the store but, there is also a new group skin gift that has been brought out, in celebration of the return of the creator.  Sarah Pure, which is very amply named, is simply breath taking and sweet looking.  I am completely in love with her and loved dressing up this skin with MOCK makeups, which fit the skin beautifully!   The group for Mynerva is 50L to join but, when you consider the amazing quality of these skins, it's a small fee to pay for the beautiful skin you get.
While browsing around the grid and doing more of the Womenstuff hunt, I popped into Vero Modero and noticed a glamorous and hot looking gown that is the group gift.  The group is free to join and they still have previous months gifts still posted up on the group gift wall.  The designs are classic with a good eye to detail and style.  The dress is a perfect red, in honor of Valentine's and great for when you go out with your sweetheart.
